Before Your Installation
To ensure a smooth hardwood installation, please prepare your home before our crew arrives. Proper preparation protects your space and helps ensure the best results. If anyone in your household is ill, please contact us to reschedule. If you need assistance moving furniture, arrangements and costs should be discussed with your estimator in advance.
- Remove existing flooring and complete any subfloor repairs
- Clear the work area and remove furniture, décor, and electronics
- Arrange moving of large items such as safes, pool tables, or exercise equipment
- Complete painting or trim work in advance
- Maintain indoor humidity between 35–55% for proper wood acclimation
- Secure valuables and empty cabinets and closets if needed
After Your Installation
After installation, allow your hardwood floors time to settle before replacing furniture.
- Ventilate the area to reduce installation odors
- Avoid walking on floors until advised
- Contact us if you notice gaps, squeaks, or concerns
- Final invoices and warranty details will be mailed after completion
